The first Come Together evening in 2024 from our Aachen colleagues was spent with sporting activities. Even though bowling in Heerlen was of course all about having fun, a few people quickly developed a little ambition. After everyone emphasized how long it had been since they had been bowling and used the first few rounds to get used again to the game, it quickly became clear that everyone had some talent. Coupled with motivating encouragement from the colleagues and surprisingly accurate predictions of what would be thrown next, lots of pins were bowled down and it was not uncommon to hear “Strike!” when everything was knocked over again.
Together with the Dutch snacks on hand and the following get-together, this resulted in a fun and cozy evening and a great start to a new year of come-together evenings.
