(1) Below we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, email addresses, user behavior.

§ 3 Collection of personal data when visiting our website
(1) When using the website merely for informational purposes, meaning if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect personal data that your browser transmits to our server. § 6 Other Functions and offers on our website

(3) Use of Social Media Plug-ins
(3a) We are currently using the following social media plug-ins: LinkedIn, Xing, Facebook, X, and WhatsApp. We use what is known as the two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially transmitted to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box with its initial letter or logo. We give you the option to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only when you click on the marked area and activate it, will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. Additionally, the data mentioned in § 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing According to the respective providers, Xing will immediately anonymize the IP address in Germany after it is collected. (3b) We have no influence over the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, or the retention periods. We also do not have information regarding the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider.
(3c) The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses these for advertising purposes, market research, and/or tailored design on their website. Such evaluation is carried out especially (also for non-logged-in users) to display personalized advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, the data we collect from you will be directly associated with your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you activate the button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also saves this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out of a social network regularly after use, especially before activating the button, as this can help you avoid an association with your profile at the plug-in provider.

We use the common SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser during the website visit. Typically, this involves 256-bit encryption.
