Even before the start of the actual Christmas season, in late November, we were already able to get in the mood for the festive season that has now begun.
However, this year’s Christmas party was also marked by an important anniversary: ibc AG in Germany has now been in existance for 15 years!
Due to this the guest list was even bigger this year: not only did employees from all over Germany and the Netherlands travel to the event, but also some business partners, customers and other companions of the ibc AG.
As we normally do, each guest was also allowed to bring a plus one, so we soon had over 70 people on the list.
As soon as the guests entered the festively decorated location in the Netherlands, they were welcomed by a magical atmosphere. The Christmas decorations exceeded all expectations: decorated pine garlands everywhere, twinkling fairy lights, sparkling Christmas trees, Christmas dioramas and landscapes, nestled in cozy fireplace rooms and with festively laid tables, created a warm and festive ambience.
We were served a rich culinary buffet; numerous cold starters, hot main courses ranging from traditional to modern and a huge and truly impressive dessert platter with several flambéed ice cream cakes sweetened our evening.
A highlight of the evening was the speech by our Board of Directors, Markus Bayer, who not only looked back on a successful year, but also reviewed the past 15 years full of challenges and successes. He emphasized the joint commitment, the courage to make decisions and implement new ideas that characterize ibc AG. One of our colleagues also celebrated his 15th anniversary with the company and was honored for his commitment and loyalty with a personal gift and much applause.
After the official part, the celebration turned into an enthusiastic party. The dance floor quickly filled up and the music kept the party going well into the late hours.
We can look back on a wonderful evening that not only strengthened our team spirit, but also expressed our thanks to everyone involved.
Together, we are now looking forward to the Christmas season and a good end to the year, a successful new year and many more anniversaries.
